Experience requirements – Air NZ Regional
(As at June 2013)
Thank you for your application for the First Officer Regional Airlines role. This email is to advise you we have made some changes to the minimum standards we require.
The minimum requirements are as follows:
Air Nelson
500 minimum hours, of which 100 hours needs to comprise of any or all of
• Air Operations (Part 135, Part 125 or Part 121)
• Multi-engine experience
• Turbine experience
• Instructing experience
• IFR cross county experience
• Actual Instrument experience
25 hours night
Eagle
500 minimum hours, of which 100 hours needs to comprise of any or all of
• Air Operations (Part 135, Part 125 or Part 121)
• Multi-engine experience
• Turbine experience
• Instructing experience
• IFR cross county experience
• Actual Instrument experience
25 hours night
Mt Cook
800 minimum hours, of which 500 hours needs to comprise of any or all of
• Air Operations (Part 135, Part 125 or Part 121)
• Multi-engine experience
25 hours night
In addition to the experience levels above we also require University Entrance, MEIR, BGT, current IFR license and a permanent legal requirement to work in New Zealand.
